Darla Miller-Maher (Your Favorite Aunt Darla) is the owner and head soap maker at Mind, Body & Soap Co.

Originally founded by her son Chris and his wife Katherine, it was hard for them watching their daughter suffer from eczema and buying handmade organic soap was breaking the bank! Chris wanted to get the best all-natural soap products for his family, so In 2009, he and his wife Kat started experimenting with different soap recipes in Darla’s basement. They made bath bombs, soaps and bath teas. It grew and had two shops in Missouri and California!

Darla continues to hand make some products and source the very best quality products from soap makers all over the country. Affordability along with quality has always been something we strive to offer our customers and we hold strong to those values! Always made in the USA and always with love.

Chris and his family moved and left the Missouri shop to Darla where she expanded the soaps and discovered a love of making soaps using organic materials.

Darla loves it when she hears the success stories of people who have cleaner, clearer skin because of her products. Her shop has been open in Excelsior Springs for nearly a decade.

Darla lives in Lathrop with her husband Mike and her two dogs. She loves her grandchildren, Cher and denim and she hopes you love her soaps as much as she does.
